Golf Log App
Score, putts, course. Round logged.
Golf apps want GPS on every hole and a subscription for the privilege. If you want to know your average score, your best round and whether the putting is the problem, log the round in the car park: score, putts, course, a note on what went wrong. The stats and the map take it from there.
One entry per round. The stats do the handicap arithmetic you never do.
Also called a golf round tracker, golf scorecard log or golf diary.
The Golf log, out of the box
One entry per session, with the timer and location always available. Add or rename variables any time in log settings.

From install to first entry in a minute
Pick “Golf” during setup
The log is created with the variables above and a few example entries so you can see how it works. Clear them with one tap.
Log as you go
Tap plus, fill in what you have, save. Timer, location, notes and photos are there when you want them, hidden when you don’t.
Let the stats accumulate
Average score sits on the log card, with the rest one tap away. Set a goal if you want a nudge.
Built for the way you actually do it
Average score and best round
Both on the log card, updated every round. Average putts next to them tells you whether the short game is where the strokes go.
Per-course record
Mark “Course” as tracked individually and each course shows your average and best there. Home course versus away days, in numbers.
Courses on a map
Every round has a location. The map is the list of courses you have played, which for some golfers is the whole point.
Not just a form. A logbook that thinks with you.
The Golf log is one log among many you can keep. Every one of them gets the same tools.
AI reads the pattern for you
Tap the bulb on Golf and get a plain-language read of your trends, what changed recently, and a suggested next goal, built only from your own entries.
Goals, streaks and reminders
Set a target like three times a week, watch the rolling progress bar, keep a streak, and get a reminder at the time you actually log. The app learns that time from you.
A calendar heatmap per log
Every log has its own month view showing which days you logged. Gaps are obvious, consistency is visible, and one tap opens that day's entries.
Several courses in one entry
One entry can hold a round per course, each with its own values, and the stats break them out separately.
Photos, sketches, voice memos
Attach a photo, draw a quick sketch, or record a voice note on any entry. They stay with that entry and come back on every device you sign in on.
Every entry on a map
Drop a pin or search for the place. Each log has a map view of everywhere you logged, and saved places open directly in Google Maps.
Search across everything
Find an entry by title, note or value across every log, filter by date or location, and jump straight to it.
Yours, offline first
Entries save on your phone first and sync when you sign in. No account needed to start, no feed, no one else sees your data.
Who keeps a golf log
Club golfers who play a couple of times a month and want to see the average move, beginners tracking the first rounds under 100, and travelling golfers collecting courses. The putts number is for anyone who suspects the truth about their short game.
It is the scorecard drawer, searchable.
What a season of rounds shows
Average score falling slowly is what improvement looks like; the best round is the day you will talk about. Average putts per round against average score tells you where to spend the practice hours. Per-course averages show the home advantage is real.
Notes on the water holes and the wind are the local knowledge you will want next spring.
Frequently asked
Does it track hole by hole or GPS distances?
No. It logs the round totals. If you want hole-by-hole, make each hole a round in the entry with Score and Putts, and the sums come out per round.
Does it calculate my handicap?
Not officially. Average and best score are shown; the handicap is your federation's calculation.
Can I log the driving range?
Yes, as a separate log with balls hit and a focus note, tagged “golf” so both show together.
